Abbas Inuwa is a civic educator and co-founder of TransparencIT, a civic technology organization working to control corruption and accelerate justice and service delivery in Nigeria. He believes that achieving a corrupt-free and transparent public system that increases service delivery will help develop Nigeria.
Abbas was a lecturer in Kaduna Polytechnic and has received trainings from the World Bank and United Nations Public Administration Network on crime prevention, corruption prevention and open government data for citizen engagement. He also holds master’s degree in Conflict, Security and Development from Nigerian Defence Academy.
Currently, Abbas is using tech platforms and data-driven advocacy, through TransparencIT, to track corruption cases for faster justice delivery, enhance transparency knowledge as weapon against corruption and increase citizens inclusion and participation in governance.
