Habiba Balogun is a multi-lingual organization effectiveness consultant, executive coach, and social justice activist. She sits on several social entrepreneurship and NGO boards. She is a fellow of the Aspen Leadership Network, Africa Leadership Initiative, and Africa Board Fellowship.

Habiba sits on the boards of Habiba Balogun Consulting, Accion Microfinance Bank, Fate Foundation, KIND (Kudirat Initiative for Democracy), WISCAR (Women in Successful Careers), International Coach Federation Nigeria Chapter, and is a founding Director of Lagos Preparatory School, the most highly accredited British International School in Africa.

She is multi-lingual, speaking 5 European languages, and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in French and Italian from the University of London, a Masters degree in Organisational Management, including Leadership Coaching and Team Facilitation, from George Washington University, Washington DC. She is also an alumnus of Harvard Business School’s Executive Education in Strategic Leadership.

Habiba is a fellow of the Aspen Leadership Network, the Africa Leadership Initiative, and the Africa Board Fellowship. She is also a certified NLP Practitioner and executive coach, a CMD-certified trainer, and a columnist for newspapers & magazines.

In her twenty-eight-year career, she has worked with clients consulting and training in the US, Europe, Africa and Asia, and all over Nigeria including the Niger-Delta. Before establishing her own consulting firm in 2007 she progressed through various roles, industries & start-ups including Banking, Manufacturing, Import-Export, Education, Media, Oil & Gas, Hospitality and more. Her expertise is in Leadership, Strategy, Management, Human Resources, Restructuring, Training, Teambuilding, Executive Coaching, Diversity, and Inclusion

She is a social justice activist, a diversity and inclusion champion, and sought-after moderator, trainer, and public speaker. She is actively involved in several not-for-profit & social entrepreneurship organizations in Nigeria.
