Kwami Ahiabenu, II is one of Ghana’s foremost experts on information technology and democracy with over a decade experience in New Media, Business Strategy, Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) and Development. Kwami has conducted numerous ICT trainings for African journalists and has written extensively on the political uses of information technology. Kwami is a Director at Media General Group, made up of a number of leading Media outlets in Ghana including TV3 Network. He is also a council member at African University College of Communications.
He is a holder of Steve Biko, Reagan-Fascell Democracy (National Endowment for Democracy), Highway Africa and Foster Davies Fellowships. Kwami holds an MBA (e-commerce) and is currently the Executive Director of Penplusbytes. He writes a column on technology and society in Ghana’s leading newspaper, Daily Graphic.
